Prince William County School children have not yet returned from winter break. However, they will return on Friday, Jan. 10, after a 2-hour delay to account for the freezing temperatures and their effects on roads.
The two-hour delay will affect bus arrival times and school start times.
Prince William County Schools provided the following message:
Delayed Opening on January 10, 2025
PWCS classes will begin two hours late on Friday, January 10, and all bus routes are adjusted two hours. Check with your school for specific bell times. Please check the Here Comes the Bus app for the status of your bus arrival. Due to an expected increase in drop-offs, all families are asked to be patient with staff and plan for additional time at arrival. More information.
