What: Good news, if you missed our first event, we have another. Come join Devlin Defend Corporation on Thursday, April 25th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Victory Lakes clubhouse for this fun, bourbon-tasting event!
Jeannie LaBella (our host for this event) is an Executive Bourbon Steward, a Bourbon Women Branch Ambassador, and an instructor with Whiskey University.
Each participant will be given 4 bourbon and cookie pairing samples. A pairing consists of 1 cookie and a 1-ounce pour of bourbon/whiskey.
A different bourbon will be paired with the following Girl Scout cookies: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and Trefoils.
The pairings will be sampled and discussed one at a time. We will cover the following in the discussion 1) the characteristics of the cookie 2) the characteristics of the bourbon as well as a few interesting facts on the bourbon or brand 3) why the cookie and the bourbon are a match.
A minimum donation to Devlin Defend Corporation of $35 per person is required to attend the event.
